Some Monday Thoughts

What an incredible weekend...

Here are a couple of tweets I made yesterday to kick things off with. If you didn't see this yesterday on Twitter or Facebook you can start following by clicking HERE and HERE.

  • Huge crowd today @newlifewired! Saw more people step over from death to life. That never gets old! Thanks NewLifers for doing your part!
  • RT: @prodigaljohn May your tomorrow be like today, a continuation of the moment hope became 3D. Live a life of Easter, not a day.
  • God is faithful. God is gracious. God is why we keep winning. #runningupthescore
And let me just also say...

  • I am still overwhelmed when I think about what Jesus did for you and for me...He paid an UNBELIEVABLE PRICE to send and UNDENIABLE message!
  • When you look at the cross you need to see an exclamation point that is sitting at the end of a sentence where God is screaming, “I love you, have a plan for your life and will do whatever it takes to get your attention!”
  • A HUGE thank you to everyone who stepped up this week and invited people to church…seriously, you guys went ALL OUT and God’s Kingdom was enlarged this weekend because of it…
  • NOW…Be sure to invite them BACK for NEXT SUNDAY’S service! Let's not let Christmas be the next time you talk to them about coming to church!
  • AND…for those who invited someone and they came but did not receive Christ–read and memorize Galatians 6:9…DON'T GIVE UP!
  • I would have to say that I think this was my favorite Easter weekend at NewLife so far!

And to those of you who have put down roots and call NewLife Fellowship home...let me just say it again: I absolutely LOVE serving as your pastor!

The celebration isn’t over this morning. Let’s move into this week with the renewed power that comes along with the reality of the resurrection in our lives. The party is just getting started! There are SO MANY MORE people in our community that need Christ…and while we will always celebrate what God has done we will not stop seeking Him in regards to what else He wants to do. He’s not through…He’s just getting things started…and I can’t WAIT to see what happens next!
