What Are You Praying For?

I am beginning the NewYear very intently.
I’ve spent much time in prayer over the past week.

It made me wonder…
What do you pray every single day, year-in and year-out, month-after-month, day-by-day?

- I am praying for God to enlarge my vision, my courage, and my faith.
- I am praying God will help me to be devoted to marking the lives of my wife and son.
- I am praying that God will help me to live my life on purpose.
- I am praying that God will bring joy and success to those that I love the most.

That just a little insight into some of my prayers as we begin 2009.

For what do you pray?

"I pray for you every day, and many times during the long nights I beg my God to bless you richly." - 2 Timothy 1:3

I pray to be of maximum usefulness to God. I pray that He will guide my words, thoughts and actions. I pray that His will be done in my life and the lives of those around me, not my will. I pray that He will guide this world, country, city and church in the way that He sees fit. I pray that he will grant me a daily reprieve from what binds me so that it will be testimony to those He could help. I pray that He would give the staff at church the courage and strength to do His will always in all things. Amen
